afraid

so there's this guy, and he's really caught my eye
but we were friends and i wanted to be his' somehow

but i'm afraid i will lose him
so sudden and fast , am i afraid to be with him?
i'm scared he won't catch if i fall

but i'm going to take a risk in doing so
in trusting him and i do know
that he may break my heart
but i've trusted him from the very start

i'm taking a chance because i'll never know
how absolutely perfect something may turn out..
